A Proud History
Here at The Meeting Place, we have been driven by a single goal since the foundation stone was laid in 1867: to build community. We believe in living life to the full.  If you like the sound of that, join us and help others create, connect, care and celebrate.
VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME
People are amazed at how much we do.....but we can always do more! However, that requires a bigger team. Â We are always looking for people willing to join with existing activities or bring new ideas. Â You may not feel you have anything to give but we believe everybody has something to give. Â Come and join us.
MAKE A DONATION
There's no rich benefactor behind what we do here. Everything we do is funded locally or through the occasional grant we are eligible for.  In truth we'd much rather share your time than your cash but if you can't spare your time or you can spare both then we'd be happy to receive a financial gift and as a registered charity we can make that go even further.
