MUNCHING FOR MACMILLAN

Locals from Westbourne and Denvilles teamed up at The Meeting Place in North Street, Westbourne to raise £458 for MacMillan Cancer Support funds. It was all the idea of Katy Honess (left) who was determined to do what she could despite the current restrictions.  Katy was ably assisted by Clare King (centre) who served all the drinks and local artisan baker Kate Sargent (right) who donated several delicious cakes and stayed all morning serving customers.  Meeting Place leader Neil Attewell said how delighted he was to help raise such a fantastic amount and see the building buzzing again in these challenging times.  If you live in the Westbourne area and have an idea for a fundraising event Neil would love to hear from you to see what they can do to help.
