CLASSIC CINEMA

One Friday afternoon a month The Meeting Place is transformed into a classic cinema showing classics such as Brief Encounter, It's a Wonderful Life and Top Hat on the big screen.

We aim to span the genres to celebrate the full scope of early to mid twentieth century cinema from love stories, through comedy and thrillers to full blown Hollywood song and dance musicals.  Entry is free with refreshments for sale beforehand to help cover costs.  To find out more click the button below and send an email.

Next month we'll be screening Alfred Hitchcock's classic The 39 Steps (1935) the fourth best British film of all time according to the BFI.  Hope you can make it!
